How much does lens replacement cost?
From £3,000 per eye for monofocal lenses up to £3,995 per eye for multifocal toric lenses. Your consultation is free if you proceed (a £300 booking deposit reserves it). Finance is available from £37.10/month over 60 months at 9.9% APR, subject to status.
How long does the procedure take?
Around 20 minutes per eye, as a day case under local anaesthetic. Both eyes can usually be treated on the same day.
Is RLE better than laser for me?
RLE is often more suitable for patients aged 40+ — especially with presbyopia, high prescriptions, thin corneas, or early cataracts. The only way to know is a consultation with full diagnostic scans, which we'll arrange for free.
Am I too old for lens replacement?
There's no upper age limit, provided your eyes are healthy. Many of our patients are over 60. Suitability is about eye health, not age alone.
