Co-Management

Optometrist Co-management Partnership Program

How Optometrist Co-Management Referrals Work?

You can refer patients to us: We will return your patients to your practice to complete their 12 month aftercare (this excludes ICL and Cross Linking patients as specialist tests are required to undertake these)

We refer patients to you: These are patients that would like their aftercare closer to home or require a contact lens trial.

We reward the time and resources you commit to being a Precision Vision London partner and being part of our Optometrist co-management partnership program is beneficial to both you and your practice with a generous co-management fee of up to £400 per patient.

What Patients Can You Refer

Self-funding patients for:

Laser eye surgery – LASIK, LASEK & PTK
Implantable Contact Lenses (ICL)
Lens Replacement
Cataract Surgery
Keratoconus Treatments
Piggyback IOL Surgery – This is for patients that had Cataract surgery with the NHS but want to correct their remaining prescription

Co-Management Partnership Fees:

Please Note:
– All fees to be paid within 10 week period after the patient undergoes treatment.
– A minimum of two post-operative examinations and all post-ops outlined on the clinical letter for up to one year must be carried out
to qualify for additional fee.
– Emergency post-operative examinations will be paid £35 per examination with prior consent by Precision Vision London.

Being a member of Precision Vision London’s Optometrist co-management program opens up a whole new channel of exposure for you

Our marketing strategy for promoting free Precision Vision information events at your practice will build your profile in your local area and attract new patients.
We refer patients requiring contact lens trials to your practice – if they continue to wear contact lenses and do not proceed with treatment at Precision Vision, you have gained a patient.
Patients that are not suitable for treatment are returned to you for alternative help that only you can provide.
Any patients coming from your area are referred to you for post-operative care if they prefer their check-ups locally, thereby adding new patients to your practice who in turn may recommend their friends and family to yourselves.

Communication is key

We are very proactive when it comes to communicating with both patients and partners. You will be updated about the outcome of your patient referral and progress all the way until they after discharged and have completed their aftercare (12 months).

Online

Our website www.precisionvisionlondon.com is continually updated with details of our latest treatments, news, blogs, patient testimonials and prices.

Social Media

Our frequent X, Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok, YouTube and LinkedIn updates provide immediate, easily accessible information sharing and promotion.

CET seminars

We host in-house training and CET approved seminars available to all members of your practice who require continuing education. We can also provide training at your own practice for group training sessions.

Newsletters

Every few months we will send out e-shots and newsletters with information on useful advances in the eye world, as well as keeping you up to date with our progress in the world of refractive surgery. We also include a case study with each one, which provides you with an insight on the complex cases that we treat here on a regular basis, and the kind of outcomes they achieve.

Co-Management Referrals

Referring a patient for vision correction couldn’t be any easier, and it can be in two ways:

The Optometrist referral form that is provided in our Optometrist Co-Management pack can be filled in and emailed.
Our website has a dedicated referral form that can be filled in and even enables you to attach relevant prescriptions or scans.

When referring a patient to you, Precision Vision will contact you by phone and ensure that you are provided with all the patient details and clinical information. It is your responsibility to contact the patient and arrange an appointment at a time convenient to you both.

Optometrist Liaison Manager

Our Optometrist Liaison Manager is dedicated to working with our Optometrist partners to ensure you get as much out of the relationship as we do. We strongly believe in the importance of a two- way relationship.

Precision Vision London’s dedicated Optometrist Liaison Manager will communicate with you regularly and personally visit your practice. It is their duty to help grow our partnership and ensure that you are kept fully informed on all clinical matters.

Updates will be provided on developments in the field of refractive surgery to help you provide the very best service for your patients. This is a very important aspect of our partnership.
