Laser eye surgery prices at Precision Vision London
These are our published starting prices, not a London market average. Both-eye figures below are twice the per-eye price and assume the same treatment for each eye.

|---|---|---|
| LASIK or LASEK / TransPRK | £1,950 | £3,900 |
| Blended vision | £2,500 | £5,000 |

Specialist prescriptions, previous surgery or a different recommendation for each eye can affect your quote. See our current fees and payment options before booking.
What does the consultation cost?
Our published laser consultation policy requires a £100 holding fee, refunded when you attend and meet the eligibility checks. Ask the team to confirm the conditions, including cancellation and non-attendance, before paying.
What is included, and what should you confirm?
Our fee schedule lists diagnostics, surgery, postoperative medication and protective eyewear, and 12 months of follow-up care. It also lists first-year enhancement cover. Ask for the details in writing: an enhancement requires clinical assessment and is not a promised second procedure.
| Part of your treatment | Published provision / question to ask |
|---|---|
| Assessment and diagnostics | Confirm the holding-fee conditions and the tests required for your case. |
| Surgery and prescribed postoperative supplies | Listed within the treatment package. Ask whether any case-specific extras apply. |
| Aftercare | 12 months of follow-ups are listed. Confirm appointment arrangements and charges after this period. |
| Enhancement | First-year cover is listed. Confirm eligibility, exclusions and the assessment process. |
| Travel and time away from work | Budget separately for transport, an accompanying adult and any time off. |
How to compare quotes from London clinics
A low starting price is useful only if you qualify for it. Request a quote following your assessment and compare the same treatment and scope of care.
- Is the amount for one eye or both, and does it apply to my prescription?
- Which procedure and treatment technology are included?
- Who assesses me, who operates and who provides follow-up care?
- Are medication, additional scans and unscheduled postoperative appointments covered?
- When does included aftercare end, and what are later appointments likely to cost?
- What happens if further treatment is recommended?
- What are the deposit, cancellation and refund terms?
For an example of how another provider sets out its fees, Moorfields Private separates consultation and treatment pricing. Check each provider’s current terms directly rather than relying on an old comparison or advertisement.
Why can the recommended procedure change the cost?
LASIK, surface treatments and SMILE are different approaches to vision correction. Your eye measurements, prescription and visual needs matter more than the price difference alone. Ask why a particular option is recommended and whether a lower-cost alternative is clinically suitable.
Is surgery cheaper than glasses or contact lenses?
Use your own spending to make this comparison. Add the cost of glasses, contact lenses, solutions and appointments over a chosen period. Compare this with the complete surgical quote, finance interest if applicable, travel and possible future eyewear or eye-care costs.
Illustration, not a savings forecast: spending £30 a month on contact lenses totals £3,600 over ten years, before other costs. This assumes the monthly spend stays unchanged. It does not establish that surgery will save money, and surgery does not guarantee you will never need glasses again.
Can I spread the payments?
Payment plans are listed on our pricing page. Check the deposit, term, APR and total amount payable for your own quote. A smaller monthly payment over a longer term can mean paying more overall. Finance is subject to status and the provider’s terms.
Plan for recovery as well as the bill
Ask how the recommended treatment may affect your work and travel arrangements. Do not plan to drive yourself home. Follow your care team’s advice about returning to driving and other activities; a general online timetable is not personal clearance. The NHS guide to laser and lens surgery explains recovery and possible side effects.
Frequently asked questions
Is the advertised price for both eyes?
Our price list is per eye. For example, £1,950 per eye gives a starting total of £3,900 for two eyes receiving the same treatment. Your written quote should make the total explicit.
Will a stronger prescription cost more?
It can affect the treatment recommendation and quote. Ask whether the advertised starting price applies after your scans and assessment.
Should I choose the cheapest option?
Compare suitability, the clinical team, aftercare and the full cost. Bring competing quotes to your consultation if you need help understanding differences in what they cover.
